Concrete Basins
Our concrete basins are designed and handcrafted in Hobart, Tasmania, using Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPFRC). Made to order and finished by hand, the collection is developed for residential bathrooms where material quality, proportion, and surface refinement are central to the design.
The range focuses on countertop basins in a variety of shapes and forms, allowing flexibility across different bathroom layouts and interior styles. Each basin is defined by restrained geometry and a tactile, matte surface, with subtle variation that reflects the nature of the material rather than decoration.
Refined forms in high-performance concrete
Formed from UHPFRC developed in-house, Educe Design basins achieve precise edges, consistent wall thickness, and a durable sealed finish suitable for daily use. Concrete’s inherent strength allows the designs to remain visually light while retaining a sense of permanence and solidity.
All basins are available in a curated range of 30 colours, with colour integral to the casting process. Natural variation in tone and texture is expected and contributes to the individuality of each piece.
